The Season Opening Exhibition marks the beginning of the 2019/20 art season in the Coachella Valley. This year, we are starting out with four remarkable artists at our Village Court Gallery located at 44651 Village Court, Palm Desert.
Our private Village Court Gallery is usually open by appointment only, but during the following days, the gallery will be open and you can visit anytime during these hours to see the Season Opening Exhibition.
Please note that some of our staff will be at Art Miami from Sunday 12/01 on and the gallery will be open by appointment again until the next exhibition in mid-January 2020.
Ecke, who just recently had his debut exhibition with us, is giving an encore with his series "Warriors with Messengers", large scale sculptures that were recently exhibited at the Centro Cultural Tijuana (CECUT), a museum with more than a million visitors a year.
It has been five years since Zivana moved back to her native Croatia and we are eager for her return, just like her countless collectors and fans. One of our most popular painters, she has created a distinguishable style with her unique and original mosaic technique. This will be her only public appearance during her short stay in the US, so don't miss it. We are expecting several new paintings for this exhibition.
The world famous German pop artist is coming back for his second major exhibition at Hohmann. Heiner Meyer and Christian Hohmann go back more than 2 decades and even though Meyer has a dense schedule of museum show openings and art fairs, he is making a stop over to join us for the Season Opening. This is a very rare opportunity to meet him in person.
A legend in the music industry worldwide and an established artist in Europe, Jens Ritter is making his artistic debut in the United States at Hohmann. His guitars are works of art and are owned by musicians like Lady Gaga, Mary J Blidge, Sammy Hagar, George Benson and countless more and sell for many tens, even hundreds of thousands of dollars. Even the artist formerly know as Prince owned one of his masterpieces. In his art, he is sculpting sounds and truly merges art and music without being literal. His work is in collections like MET Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, Boston Museum of Fine Arts and the Smithsonian Museum in D.C. among many others.
If you are a collector of one of these artists, please call us at (760) 346-4243 x110 to schedule a preview of the exhibition.
