Throughout the year, we host numerous events for our collectors, clients, and customers:
Opening receptions, artist talks, and art salons at our Village Court Gallery or our Palm Springs Showroom and exclusive open houses at spectacular private residences for which we have curated the art.
With very few exceptions, our events are by invitation only and designed to give our clients first choice and an opportunity to meet the artists they collect. If you are considering working with us, we would be happy to send you an invitation to our next event. Please let us know during your next visit and we will gladly invite you. On occasion we have public events at our Palm Springs Showroom and notifications will be sent by email. Make sure to sign up for our newsletter.
If you are a client of the gallery and you are not receiving invitations, please let us know so we can update your address.
If you have heard about one of our events, but have not received an invitation in your name, please check with us first to see if it is OK to come.
At the risk of being old-fashioned, we send out most invitations to our events by mail, but we would be happy to send them to all of your residences and/or businesses.
Below you will find some examples of previous events. For dress code and other helpful event information, please scroll all the way down.
For the 2021-22 season, we will host in-person events again and we will follow any and all local rules to minimize the risk of contracting COVID-19. Our entire staff is vaccinated and although we will not check your vaccination status, we would respectfully ask that you attend our events only if you are fully vaccinated. This is primarily for the protection of our clients, some of whom are considered vulnerable and high risk. We would be happy to show you the exhibition any other time by appointment.
The Season Opening marks the beginning of the art season in the Coachella Valley and is one of the most important art events of the social calendar.
Clients, artists and friends came to celebrate the new gallery space. Over a glass of Veuve Cliquot, many works of art found new homes, new friends were made and artists shared their inspiration.
The Mayor, representatives of the adjacent museum, almost the entire public art committee of Palm Springs and more than a hundred invited guests were present when we unveiled the new landmark sculpture by Julian Voss-Andreae who has started a renaissance of public art in Palm Springs.
When it became clear that our dear friend and artist Neil Nagy would make a full recovery from his health scare, we felt it was time to celebrate a life time of artistic achievements with him present One hundred and fifty invited collectors and friends of the artist came to celebrate him, his work and his health in a secret location, a spectacular private residence that was all Nagy for one night!
It was a sought after invitation, when we asked our clients to join us for an open house of a different kind. Many times a year we get to curate the art collections for high end spec homes that are offered for sale, but it is not every day that we get to invite our collectors to see them. This particularly beautiful home at the Vintage Club in Indian Wells touched on all senses.
Having fun is something that we take very seriously and we want to make sure everyone has a good time at our parties! Dress code for our events is casual but stylish. If you like, dress up; many of our clients do. No shirt, no shoes - doesn't matter as long as you have a pocket to bring your credit card :-) Just kidding! (about the shirt and shoes - not the credit card!)
Please be respectful to other guests, staff and artists. If you did not receive an invitation in your name, please check with the gallery first if it is OK to come. Many of our events have a capacity limit to ensure the enjoyment of all guests and invitations are mailed out accordingly. If you have received an invitation, we always allow you to bring your guests or friends, just please let us know with your RSVP.
Please note that our events are designed to give our clients and collectors first choice of new works and an opportunity to meet our artists. If you are an artist and would like to approach us in regards to representation, our events are not the place nor the time. The same is true for any other kind of solicitation. Please check the FAQ on how to get in touch with us.
